Manjunath Chandrashekar
Founder & Managing Partner
Manjunath Chandrashekar is an accomplished legal and governance professional with a career that bridges both corporate legal leadership and private legal practice. As the Founder and Managing Partner of Aryasumantra Legal Advisors LLP, he brings over 15 years of rich experience supporting businesses across industries. His professional journey includes leadership roles such as Assistant General Counsel at Ather Energy, Head of Legal at Blackbuck, and Chief Legal Officer at HungerBox, with earlier stints at Toyota and Coffee Day. His ability to embed legal strategy into business operations makes him a trusted partner to founders, boards, and investors. At Aryasumantra, he focuses on building legally compliant, governance-focused, and growth-ready organizations while upholding strong ethical standards and solution-oriented legal thinking.
Education
Manjunath holds a Master’s degree in Constitutional and Administrative Law from Acharya Nagarjuna University, Hyderabad. He is a certified Commercial Mediator and Negotiator from the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA) and holds a certification in Independent Directorship. An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIMB), he brings strategic depth to legal problem-solving with a business-first mindset.

Manjunath has successfully built and led legal, compliance, secretarial, and regulatory functions for businesses at various stages of growth. His multi-sectoral exposure spans Automobile, Infrastructure, E-commerce, Logistics, Food, Manufacturing, Retail, Mining, Ports, and Technology. He is adept at handling high-stakes litigation and arbitration, managing cross-border commercial contracts, and providing regulatory advisory for both startups and large MNCs. His expertise includes PPP/concession agreements, equity and debt investment documentation, software licensing, vendor onboarding, due diligence, IPO readiness, and labour law compliance. His prior in-house leadership roles have shaped his ability to balance legal risk, business pragmatism, and institutional governance.

Shrunga M M is a seasoned legal and compliance professional with over a decade of experience across regulatory, licensing, and commercial legal functions. As a Partner at Aryasumantra Legal Advisors LLP, she brings a detailed and process-driven approach to legal advisory, particularly in regulatory compliance, stock exchange operations, real estate documentation, and contract management. Her work spans both transactional and compliance domains, with a focus on helping businesses operate within the framework of law while maintaining operational ease. She is known for her ability to navigate complex regulatory systems with clarity and support clients across varied licensing, statutory, and documentation requirements. Shrunga is an alumnus of JSSLC, University of Mysore, and holds a Master’s degree in Business Laws from Karnataka State Open University (KSOU). Her legal education is complemented by hands-on experience in regulatory practice areas, giving her the practical ability to bridge law and business compliance seamlessly.
Experience & Expertise
Shrunga has assisted a wide range of clients in obtaining critical regulatory clearances and operational licenses including BSE, NSE, and MCX memberships, ARN and EUIN registrations, IRDAI corporate agency licenses, NBFC licensing, and various industry-specific approvals like FSSAI, Shops & Establishments, Trade Licenses, and Legal Metrology. She has advised clients on SEBI compliance, stock broking regulations, and assisted with trademark registration and filings. Shrunga also brings hands-on experience in real estate legal work including title due diligence, drafting of sale agreements, deeds, and lease contracts. Additionally, she has drafted and reviewed numerous service agreements, HR contracts, and has provided end-to-end support in contract and document lifecycle management for growing businesses.
